Anesthesiology Department Profile:

• Anesthesia Care Team is comprised of 5 Anesthesiologists and 8+ APPs
• Case mix includes general surgery, urology, orthopedic, ENT, plastic, podiatry, IR, GI and minor vascular
• No Cardiac, Neuro, Thoracic, Trauma or OB
• Bariatrics Center of Excellence
• Hernia Surgery Center of Excellence
• Annual case volume: 4,600
• Recognized as "One of the Top 20 Hospital Brands in the US" by Becker's Healthcare in 2022

Memorial Hospital Pembroke, a 301-bed facility, joined the Memorial Healthcare System in 1995 and offers a wide range of clinical expertise within a variety of programs including but not limited to bariatrics, emergency care, respiratory care, stroke treatment and diabetes. The Joint Commission has ranked Memorial Hospital Pembroke as a "Top Performer on Key Quality Measures", and the hospital has received the "Get With the Guidelines Gold Plus Award" for Stroke by the American Heart Association and the American Stroke Association. The hospital has received a Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade of "A" Ranking in Patient Safety for six consecutive years (2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018 and 2017)
