We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team at Healthy Kids at Play in Werribee, VIC. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating children with various developmental and physical challenges. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to design and implement therapy programs that enhance children’s motor, sensory, and cognitive abilities, improving their daily lives.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate children’s motor skills, sensory processing abilities, and cognitive function Develop individualised treatment plans based on assessment findings Implement therapy interventions to support children in achieving their developmental goals Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic, coordinated care Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes Assist in designing and modifying assistive devices and environmental adaptations Educate and train families and caregivers on strategies to support children’s therapeutic progress Participate in interdisciplinary clinical teams and contribute to research initiatives Ensure accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution Current AHPRA registration required Experience working with children with developmental delays or disabilities is preferred but not required for entry-level positions
