Description
Seeking associate veterinarians for a rapidly growing, NON-CORPORATE animal hospital in Denver/Aurora. Tower Road Vet was established in 2015 with the goal of providing quality, compassionate, affordable care to animals in our community. Over the last 10 years, Tower Road Vet has grown exponentially and is now a well-established animal hospital in the area with a strong community reputation. In 2025 we expanded into a brand-new facility and opened our Urgent Care service in addition to our busy general practice. We are proud to be AAHA Accredited for 10 years, and we have been named “Best of the City” and “Neighborhood Favorite” several times.
We are seeking associates for both general practice and urgent care - if you want to do a little of both, you can! Part-time and Full-time schedule possible. Full-time positions are guaranteed no more than 4 days a week with a regular schedule.
Do you want to come to work every day and actually enjoy being there?
Do you want to work at a veterinary hospital that values employees as people (not just numbers on a spreadsheet) and understands that your life doesn’t begin and end at work?
Do you want to work with a team that is supportive, inclusive, and dedicated to this profession?
Are you interested in working at an independently owned veterinary practice in the beautiful state of Colorado?
Do you just want to take care of pets and people in the community, the way you envisioned it when you were dreaming about entering this field?
If you answered yes to these questions - Tower Road Vet is the place for you.
Why you’ll love working at Tower Road Vet:
We’re not ashamed of being inclusive - all are welcome.
High standards, but realistic expectations - we won’t hound you to sell products or “packages” - we believe that if you practice good medicine, you’ll be productive.
Real mentorship - we welcome new graduates. Our doctors have extensive experience in both GP and emergency/critical care and we love to mentor!
You’ll have the tools you need to practice modern veterinary medicine - we have a full suite of IDEXX laboratory machines including Sedivue Urinalysis and Invue Cytology, digital x-ray, a dedicated dental and oral surgery suite, cloud-based EMR (EzyVet), and the ability to collaborate in-house with local specialists including orthopedic surgeons, cardiologists, and internists.
A typical day: Your primary focus will be small animal medicine, including dogs and cats, with some exposure to small exotics. You’ll see a steady caseload supported by a collaborative team and loyal clientele. Soft-tissue surgery, dentistry, and emergency medicine are part of the regular schedule, with flexibility to grow your interests over time. We practice a high level of medicine with a collaborative approach.
