We are proud of the many years of expertise helping physios develop confidence, clinical reasoning, hands-on and time management skills within a women’s health, musculoskeletal, pelvic health and exercise class setting. The time is right for another physio to come on board. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist in women’s health, within a unique, well established private practice.
Potential applicants may have the following physiotherapy practice backgrounds:
The physiotherapist in their early stage of career development and aware of a woman’s physio needs through life, but wanting to learn more. PFW is providing a women’s health physiotherapy training program to the successful physio. The training will focus on the broad musculoskeletal presentations seen within the clinic, meaning all of women’s life stages will be included in the education program. Training will also encompass supervising physiotherapy exercise classes being run within the practice.
This position is perfect for the physiotherapist who has worked in the musculoskeletal or sports physiotherapy environment, and is now keen to further develop their skills and take their career pathway into women’s health and exercise rehab physiotherapy, with support, mentoring and education.
Another area of interest in this position is for the physio who has taken time out to start a family. Reality is now before them, where they can see and understand the relevance of musculoskeletal and exercise physiotherapy in the perinatal stage and beyond. They are yearning to get back to being a physio in a supportive women’s health practice, with mentoring and education.
