General Description
The Pricing Supervisor is responsible for preparing compliant and cost competitive price and cost volume responses to requests for proposals and requests for quotes. Develops pricing models and templates. Responsible for overseeing pricing bids prepared by department pricing analysts. Assists with training pricing staff. Hybrid work located in Madison, AL.
Duties
Work with technical and management subject matter experts to prepare estimates and pricing data in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) government Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotes (RFQs).
Assist with Process improvement initiatives
Develop pricing models
Review workload estimates, basis of estimates, and pricing data
Conduct analysis to optimize competitive bid pricing
Present cost estimates to corporate stakeholders and lead review discussions
Assist with price to win analyses and strategy
Prepare proposal cost volumes including cost narratives to respond to proposal Section L and M criteria
Work in a team environment
Other Duties as assigned
Education/Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree required. 5 plus years of Pricing experience in a Government Proposal environment
Ability to work well and communicate with others.
Familiar/experience in multiple contract types to include FFP, T&M, CPFF
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and SharePoint required
Knowledge of indirect rate pools and salary survey databases
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Proficient in cost estimating and pricing techniques
Experience with DCMA/DCAA proposal audit practices
Proficient at interpreting RFP requirements
Experience in highly complex pricing bids required.
Knowledge of CBA and Wage Determinations preferred
Willing to work in a hybrid environment in the Huntsville/Madison AL area
