The appointee shall provide services as assigned by the supervisor in furtherance of the university's missions and goals of teaching, research, patient care, outreach and public service.
The School of Nursing APRN delivers care aligned with a defined scope of practice in 1344 maximum clinical hours in the Nurse Midwifery service, with work expectations operationalized through departmental workflows, productivity standards, and performance expectations consistent with the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) and institutional policies.
This role is structured to meet contract-defined work expectations of 258 annual ambulatory sessions for 0.75 FTE, inclusive of daytime coverage, aligned with the clinical coverage model and patient care needs of the service.
The Certified Nurse-Midwife will participate in departmental scheduling processes, including daytime coverage, with scheduling practices aligned to contract provisions, equitable distribution of coverage, and maintenance of safe, consistent clinical operations.

Required Qualifications
Education (Degree dependent on academic program type and rank of position.):
Instructor: MSN or equivalent
Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Professor: PhD/DNP or equivalent
Registrations, Certifications and/or Licenses (Current licensure & certifications could be required depending on position and academic program.):
Current RN and APRN licensure with the Oregon Board of Nursing.
Current AMCB/ACNM national certification
Current BLS
DEA Certification.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Experience (Experience dependent on academic program type and rank of position.):
2 years full-scope midwifery experience in hospital setting preferred
