Our client is a leading financial institution who has a large footprint within Hong Kong with a steadily growing business and is looking for a seasoned financial reporting leader to lead its management reporting and business finance functions in Hong Kong.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

• Lead the preparation of management reports, budgeting, forecasting, and financial statements, ensuring KPIs are tracked to monitor business performance.
• Represent finance to communicate key financial information and insights to senior executives, advising on budgeting, business portfolio and key initiatives.
• Enrich and maintain complex financial models to evaluate scenarios and support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate across business and corporate functions to gather data and provide a holistic view of financial performance.
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Provide actionable recommendations that enhance profitability and optimize decision-making processes.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

• Hold a degree in Accounting/Finance (or related discipline).
• With over 12 years of hands-on experience in financial management reporting, business finance, or management accounting within the banking or financial institutions.
• With over 5 years of people management experience.
• Demonstrate advanced technical and quantitative skills, including financial modeling and Excel proficiency.
• Fluent in both Chinese (Cantonese) and English with excellent interpersonal, analytical, and presentation abilities, with a proven track record of advising senior stakeholders.
• Maintain sound knowledge of industry rules, regulations, and market trends.
