Position Summary Information

Job Description Summary:	The Villanova University Endowment Internship will introduce a successful candidate to all facets of the endowment's investment process. The intern will work on research projects for the endowment staff, create analytical reports on the endowment's fund managers, and shadow investment manager meetings. What We Do Villanova University's $1.5 billion endowment supports scholarships, teaching, research, and student life today and into perpetuity. The Investment Office manages these long-term funds by researching and selecting external investment managers across public equities, hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, real estate, and private credit with the goal of earning long-term returns and prudently managing risk. Why Work for the Villanova University Investment Office Experience: Interns gain experience and skills in fundamental investing concepts, market research, investment manager due diligence, financial modeling, and communicating investment views. Research project: Interns complete a summer-long capstone research project in a theme that aligns with the intern's interests and supports an analytical need of the Investment Office. Exposure: This role provides early exposure to a broad range of global asset classes and can orient candidates to future internships in investment banking, consulting, and broader financial markets. Potential to extend internship: Interns that demonstrate strong performance and intellectual curiosity during the summer may extend the opportunity into a part-time internship during the academic year.
