UNC Urgent Care at Carolina Pointe II, located in Chapel Hill, NC, is currently seeking a Full-time, Urgent Care Physician Assistant (PA). Providers are part of an interdisciplinary team and responsible for treating episodic illnesses, minor injuries, and providing occupational health services and exams. We see patients 4 months of age and older. Our team includes RNs, CMAs, Rad Techs, MOAs, Physicians and APPs. We have on-site X-Ray and point of care testing. Our clinics are walk-in based.

Ideal Candidate:

• Completion of accredited Physician Assistant program
• Work experience in acute care, primary care, urgent care, or emergency room setting preferred
• Must provide care to patients 4 months of age and older
• NC Licensure or ability to obtain
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to establish rapport with patients & collaborate effectively with team members
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Required procedures: Suturing, splinting
• DOT Certification
• Knowledge of OSHA recordables preferred, but not required
• EPIC - EMR

Clinic Schedule:

• 8:00am - 8:00pm (Sunday - Saturday)
• Plus, weekends & holidays
• Flexible, Shift-Based, Fulltime Schedule
• Location: UNC Urgent Care at Carolina Pointe II
