Zebra Technologies builds tracking technology and solutions that generate actionable information and insight, giving companies unprecedented visibility into their businesses by giving physical things a digital voice. Penang Finance Shared Services Centre covers Accounts receivable (AR), Accounts payable (AP), General ledger (GL), Treasury, Payroll and Finance analysis activities. From Penang, we provide support to APAC, EMEA, and Americas regions.

GBS Treasury Team in Penang supports APAC and EMEA regions. The team is responsible for managing cash, cash-flow forecast. We also report to our stakeholders on regular basis and do ad-hoc analysis of our operations. Amongst others we oversee intercompany settlements, cash-pool transfers, bank relationships and manual payments processing.

We are looking for a Treasury enthusiast to join our Treasury Team with interest in exploring and gaining experience also in various areas of Finance in longer term. You will be responsible for processing payments, supporting daily and ad hoc operations and also maintaining and ensuring compliance of Treasury processes with internal procedures and policies. On daily basis, you will work with, enhance or develop analytics and automations leveraging PowerPlatform tools. You will closely interact with our cooperating banks and will be responsible for continuous process improvement in your areas.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process various payment types for legal entities in APAC and EMEA regions according to internal policies
• Deliver bank statements
• Assist with daily cash positioning and cash forecasting to ensure optimal liquidity
• Actively manage our bank accounts (bank accounts opening, closing, KYC review) and related evidence
• Work on internal inquiries related to payments or bank investigations on an ad hoc basis
• Collaborate with accounts payable, accounting, payroll and accounts receivable departments to resolve any discrepancies
• Maintain and organize all Treasury-related documentation, including relevant Treasury policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance of Treasury processes, including SOX
• Support intercompany settlements
• Analyze data, provide insights and regular reports for the Treasury Manager and other internal stakeholders
• Actively work on various internal projects aimed at process automation and digitization leveraging PowerPlatform
• Drive continuous process improvement increasing efficiency of Treasury processes
• Closely cooperate with remote team members (Czech Republic, USA)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree with major in Finance, Business or Information Systems
• 1-2 years of experience (including part-time)
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office 365
• Advanced English (written and spoken) for daily communication is required
• Strong analytical skills
• Reliable with ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities
• Well organized person, attention to detail, stress resistant, strong team spirit
• Previous experience with Microsoft PowerPlatform tools (PowerBI, Power Automate, Power Apps) or relational databases is a plus
• Previous experience in payments or banking is a plus
