Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic Medical Groups seeks a full-time Trauma/Acute Care Surgeon to join our employed surgical group at St. Mary Medical Center, a 371-bed Level II trauma center and teaching hospital in Langhorne, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will leverage the resources of a leading health system, collaborate with colleagues across specialties, and make a meaningful impact on patient care and surgical education.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive trauma surgery, surgical critical care, and emergency general surgery services
• Manage trauma patients throughout the care continuum, from initial resuscitation through rehabilitation
• Serve as a clinical educator for General Surgery Residents
• Cover Trauma/Acute Care Surgery clinic services
• Collaborate with consulting specialists and ancillary services to optimize patient outcomes
• Act as a clinical liaison between the Trauma/Acute Care Surgery Service and other physician services and departments

Professional Development and Leadership

• Engage in clinical research and scholarly activities
• Participate in administrative and leadership responsibilities supporting trauma verification and performance improvement initiatives
• Contribute to a multidisciplinary trauma program emphasizing quality, safety, and education
