A long-standing public practice is seeking two additional tax professionals to provide essential support through a consistently busy period.
Your new role
Junior Tax Manager (Permanent)
You will support the Senior Tax Manager and provide greater technical oversight across the tax function. This role suits a Senior Tax Accountant ready to step up.
You will:

• Review work and support compliance functions
• Manage individual and SME tax matters
• Handle BAS, tax planning and general compliance
• Complete review work and provide technical guidance
• Gain exposure to SMSFs as this area expands
• Lead and mentor two direct reports
• Work effectively with offshore team members

Tax Accountant (3-6 Month Contract)This temporary role offers immediate work during peak tax periods.
You will:

• Prepare FBT returns
• Assist with tax work and planning
• Review bookkeepers' work and prepare files for review
• Support group accounts
• Help the team meet deadlines
