SYNOPSIS
The Supervisory Paralegal/Intake Coordinator leads, trains, and manages a team of paralegals and intake staff, overseeing workload distribution and work quality in client interaction, litigation, and administrative support for the firm’s attorneys. They ensure adherence to legal procedures and deadlines, manage complex projects, and act as a liaison between staff, attorneys, and other stakeholders. In addition, they may be asked to work independently as needed to assist in the paralegal or intake functions.

KEY AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Maintaining firm database to track potential clients and their status/disposition
Coordinate with intake staff, senior partners, and administrative staff to ensure timely and professional contact with and consideration of potential clients
Expertise in and oversight of e-discovery and document management software
Oversight of paralegals and intake staff as they complete daily tasks, including:
o Conducting client-intake interviews to identify and gather information to assess merits and suitability of potential client representations
o Drafting clear, concise summaries following intake interviews for partner review
o The full range of paralegal tasks, including organizing client files, proofreading documents, interviewing witnesses and class members, drafting declarations, compiling exhibits, preparing binders, conducting research, monitoring case dockets, coordinating with e-discovery software and vendors, preparing tables of contents and authorities, and assisting with litigation support technology, among other roles
Assist with paralegal and intake tasks, as needed
REQUIREMENTS
Required: A combination of relevant education, experience and training equivalent to a bachelor’s degree plus four (4) years’ experience as a paralegal and/or Legal assistant. Strong writing, proofreading and editing skills are required.
Preferred:
This role requires the ability to independently manage deadlines for multiple assignments in a fast-paced, detail-oriented office environment. An ideal candidate for this role will possess:
Two (2) years’ supervisory experience preferred.
Cultural competence interacting with prospective clients and staff from diverse backgrounds.
Prior paralegal litigation experience, especially with wage-and-hour or other class action matters.
Proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
Proficiency with document review software, particularly Everlaw
Strong writing and data analysis skills
Bilingual skills (fluent English/Spanish)

Salary: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00, commensurate with experience; Bonus eligible.
