Description
Pharmacy Manager / Supervising Pharmacist (PIC)
Inversa Rx Pharmacy | Bronx, NY
A Fresh Start for Pharmacists Ready to Leave Chain Pharmacy Behind
Inversa Rx Pharmacy is a newly established independent community pharmacy in the Bronx. We are looking for a Pharmacy Manager / Supervising Pharmacist (PIC) who wants a more balanced and rewarding pharmacy environment—one where patient care, professional respect, and teamwork come first.
If you’ve spent years working in high-volume chain pharmacies and are ready for a role where you can slow down, focus on patients, and have a real voice in how the pharmacy operates, this opportunity may be exactly what you’re looking for. New graduates are also welcome to apply, as this role includes mentorship and support to help you learn the ins and outs of independent pharmacy practice.
We understand many pharmacists are coming from high-volume chain environments, and our goal is to create a workplace where pharmacists can focus on patient care, professional judgment, and a sustainable pace.
Why You’ll love leading here
Practice Pharmacy the Way It Was Meant to Be
Spend your time counseling patients, providing medication therapy management, administering immunizations, and building relationships with your community, not chasing corporate metrics.
A Calmer, More Predictable Work Environment
Our goal is to create a sustainable pace that allows pharmacists to provide thoughtful patient care. We aim to grow the pharmacy thoughtfully and sustainably—building strong patient relationships and expanding services over time without creating the burnout often associated with high-volume chain pharmacies.
Have a Real Voice
As PIC, you’ll help shape workflows, standard operating procedures, and team culture. Your professional judgment and leadership will truly matter.
Build Something Meaningful
Join a pharmacy at the beginning and help create a trusted healthcare resource for the Bronx community.
What This Opportunity Offers
Leadership role with meaningful input in pharmacy operations
Supportive and collaborative work environment\
Opportunity to help shape a growing independent pharmacy
Competitive salary: $100,000 – $140,000
(As a newly launched pharmacy, initial prescription volume will be manageable, allowing time to establish workflows, build patient relationships, and grow services thoughtfully; compensation and incentives are structured to grow as the pharmacy expands. This role is open to experienced PICs as well as new graduates eager to learn and grow in a supportive environment.)
Paid time off and holidays
Professional liability coverage
Who We’re Looking For
Licensed New York State Pharmacist eligible to serve as PIC

Independent pharmacy experience or previous PIC experience is valued but not required. New graduates are welcome to apply and will receive mentorship and support as they grow into the role.
For pharmacists interested in leadership and long-term growth, this role offers the opportunity to play a key role in building and expanding a modern independent pharmacy.
Considering a Change?
Many pharmacists working in high-volume environments are simply looking for a place where they can practice pharmacy thoughtfully and make a real difference again.
If you’re curious about what practicing pharmacy in a supportive independent setting could look like, we’d be happy to have a confidential conversation and answer any questions
