About Our Client

Our client, a well-established international insurance group with strong footprints across Asia, is seeking a high-calibre Business Development Manager to join their Hong Kong office. This is a strategic and analytical role focusing on market analysis, new market evaluation, and regional business growth initiatives.

Job Description

• Develop and maintain country performance dashboards, tracking KPIs and identifying improvement areas
• Conduct strategic market studies, competitive landscape reviews, and industry assessments to identify emerging opportunities across APAC
• Evaluate new market investment opportunities, including market attractiveness, entry barriers, and commercial feasibility
• Support M&A activities including preliminary due diligence, KPI & business performance assessments, and synergy analysis.
• Drive business case development for new channels, partnerships, and regional initiatives
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders including the C-suite, actuarial teams, and regional business leaders and external partnership

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Finance, Economics, or related fields
• 4-8 years of experience in strategy, business development, consulting, market analysis
• Insurance industry experience is highly preferred
• Open to candidates from Big 4 / management consulting
• Strong exposure to regional markets, ideally covering more than one APAC country
• Fluent in Chinese and English
• Immediately available is perferred
