About the Role
In this role, you will use your expertise to provide preventative and hands on health services in workplace settings, supporting employees to stay at their best.
Key Responsibilities:
Soft tissue treatment & musculoskeletal support – hands-on therapy to prevent and manage soft tissue injuries.
Postural education & movement coaching – empower workers with knowledge to prevent strain and discomfort.
Holistic health evaluations – assess and evaluate soft tissue injuries using a holistic biopsychosocial approach.
Injury prevention & education programs – deliver training to reduce workplace injuries and improve performance.
Stress management strategies – support employee well-being through proactive mental and physical health interventions.
Ergonomic workstation assessments – optimise workstation setups to prevent injury and discomfort.
Task analysis & workplace assessments – evaluate workplace practices and recommend improvements.
LOCUM required for 2 weeks initially, 2 days per week with opportunity to extend. Starting late January 2026.
Requirements
We’d love to hear from you if you:
- Are a qualified Occupational Therapist with full AHPRA registration and training in Soft Tissue Injury Management.
- Have a passion for workplace health, injury prevention, and holistic well-being.
- Thrive in autonomous roles and can build strong relationships with workplace teams.
- Have experience in musculoskeletal health, ergonomics, or workplace wellness programs (or a strong interest in developing in this area).
- Enjoy educating and empowering people to improve their health.
Casual locum contract, 2 days per week initially with the opportunity to extend.
