- Simulation & Experiential Learning Production Specialist
Description

If so, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is seeking a Simulation & Experiential Learning Production Specialist to coordinate the production, maintenance, and support of AAP Simulation and Experiential Learning (SEL) courses and content offerings, including activity setup and production, quality assurance testing, media and asset preparation, e-commerce setup and maintenance, product launch and support, course reporting, and database entry.
Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm, with a 1-hour lunch.
Qualifications needed:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, adult education, or related discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience required.
- At least two years’ related experience in the coordination, development, and support of web-based, educational projects. Experience in adult learning/online education and mobile application support, coordination, and delivery preferred.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, customer service, and oral/written communication skills required.
- Strong technical acumen essential with proficiency in MS Office, website maintenance software (eg, SharePoint), databases, knowledge of HTML, and the ability to learn and apply new technologies; experience with Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) and virtual meeting platforms (eg, WebEx, Teams) preferred.
- Some evening/weekend work and travel required.
Some tasks include:
- Build and maintain course sites in the learning management system (LMS & AAP database), including creating pages, navigational menus, and learning and credit-claiming activities.
- Coordinate the setup, delivery, and testing of continuing medical education (CME) and maintenance of certification (MOC)-eligible activities.
- Coordinate and manage course production workflows using tools such as Smartsheet, Teams, and SharePoint and document production workflows, policies, and processes for consistency and scalability.
- Monitor the course production process and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Integrate SEL projects and courses into the LMS, ensuring consistency and accuracy.

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $32.53/hr - $34.35/hr. Compensation decisions take into account a wide range of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, geographic location, business needs, and organizational policies. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer.
