Overview
Senior Commercial Service Center Representative ObjectiveTo provide excellent customer service to commercial policyholders, Farm Bureau Insurance agents and their staff in a prompt and professional manner. To proactively research and resolve policy issues, promote additional coverages for customers, and address questions and concerns from customers by providing commercial lines information via the telephone, e-mail, and interactive chat while documenting activities and reporting back to agent offices. To retain knowledge of commercial acceptance and rejection rules and guidelines, pricing, classification, and hazard recognition. To support internal and external customers by providing service for FB Partners policies. To train and provide support and assistance to the Commercial Service Center team. To assist management with projects, as well as represent the department as a subject matter expert.
Responsibilities
Senior Commercial Service Center Representative ResponsibilitiesComplete service requests on complex commercial accounts including advanced certificates of insurance, endorsements, and renewal reviews. Maintain a high level of knowledge of Farm Bureau commercial products to be a trusted resource on coverage and risk evaluation for agency and home office staff. Stay current on product changes. Maintain knowledge of Farm Bureau systems and procedures as they relate to job functions. Identify, recommend, and enact procedural changes to improve job efficiency and effectiveness. Look for ways to streamline and facilitate policy handling. Support agents and field staff as they learn to use Farm Bureau Insurance and FB Partner Group products and procedures.
Qualifications
Senior Commercial Service Center Representative Qualifications RequiredHigh school diploma or equivalent required. Two to three years insurance related experience required. Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required. Valid driver license with an acceptable driving record. Designations in AINS or CIC required, or actively being pursued. Must be willing to pursue self-development training. P/C License required. PreferredAssociate degree preferred, with a focus on marketing, business administration, management, insurance, or finance. One year of professional office experience is preferred. Note: If a candidate is not identified, a Commercial Service Center Representative may be considered based on level of experience.
