Description

We are looking for a Business Analyst / Product Owner for a big chain of stores, which sells pet products, services, and more!

Essential functions

• Manage and prioritize the product backlog to ensure clear and actionable items.
• Define user stories and acceptance criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Align product development with business goals and customer needs.
• Act as the bridge between stakeholders and the development team, ensuring shared understanding.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Accept or reject deliverables based on predefined acceptance criteria.
• Continuously gather feedback and adjust the backlog to maximize product value.

Qualifications

1. Experience & Background

• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or in a related role.
• 5+ years of experience.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum is a must).
• Experience in backlog management, writing user stories, and defining acceptance criteria.
• Background in product lifecycle management (from discovery to delivery).
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, QA, and stakeholders.

2. Skills & Competencies

• Strong communication skills - verbal and written, with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Skilled in prioritization and decision-making, especially in ambiguous or high-pressure environments.
• Deep understanding of customer-centric design and how to validate ideas (via data or feedback).
• Analytical mindset with basic knowledge of metrics, KPIs, and data interpretation.
