Senior Business Analyst - Technology & Process Delivery

Leading Private Markets Investment Firm | London

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Business Analyst to join a Private Markets client with strong gravitas and analytical skills on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Delivery Ownership

• • Take ownership of understanding business operations and lead detailed analysis of end-to-end business processes
  • Produce clear and usable as-is and to-be process models
  • Identify inefficiencies, manual work, duplication, control weaknesses, and operational risk
  • Design pragmatic future-state processes that improve efficiency, consistency, and control
  • Define clear, outcome-focused business requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Challenge stakeholders constructively to ensure requirements are necessary, proportionate, and aligned to business objectives
  • Take accountability for the successful delivery of technology-enabled change, adapting the project management approach based on the nature of each engagement
  • Act as the primary client-side owner of delivery relationships with technology vendors and implementation partners

Essential Experience & Skills

• • Significant experience working as a Business Analyst with direct delivery accountability
  • Strong, hands-on experience in business process analysis and redesign (as-is and to-be)
  • Proven ability to translate ambiguous business problems into clearly defined, deliverable solutions
  • Experience delivering cloud-based or SaaS solutions, working directly with vendors and/or implementation partners
  • Comfortable owning outcomes and making delivery trade-offs
  • Formal Business Analysis qualifications (BCS, IIBA) or equivalent practical experience
  • MUST have extensive Private Markets OR Investment Management experience

Desirable Experience

• • Experience with enterprise cloud systems and a familiarity with automation or workflow-enabled solutions
  • Awareness or experience with Generative AI, Agentic AI, or automation technologies (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, AI workflow tools)
  • Project management certifications (PRINCE2, AgilePM, PMP)
  • Degree in IT, computer science, business, or related field
