Senior Academic Faculty Position in Computer Science – The Open University of Israel
The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at The Open University of Israel invites applications for a senior academic faculty position in Computer Science. The position is open to candidates at any rank, from Lecturer to Full Professor.
We welcome applications from applied research areas in Computer Science, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing, software engineering, databases, and other related fields.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
PhD in Computer Science
Academic experience or postdoctoral training – an advantage
Research excellence at an international level
Didactic writing ability in Hebrew for the purpose of writing textbook and developing online pedagogical content

Review of applications will begin on March 15, 2026, and will continue until June 15, 2026, or until all positions are filled, whichever comes first.
