Position Summary

 

The Assistant Golf Professional is a key, highly visible member of the golf operations team, actively involved in instruction, tournament management, and daily interaction with members. This role is ideal for a PGA Associate or Class A Professional who enjoys building relationships and contributing to a welcoming, member-centric atmosphere.

Seasonal position: March-December (flexibility available).

Experience Required

• PGA Associate or Class A Professional (preferred)
• Open to highly motivated, entry level candidates
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Service-oriented mindset with attention to detail
• Interest in teaching and player development
• Professional, dependable, and team-focused

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist with golf shop operations, tee sheet coordination, and member service
• Maintain strong on-course presence and support day-to-day operations
• Administer tournaments, leagues, and scoring using Golf Genius software
• Provide instruction through private lessons, clinics, and junior programming
• Assist with merchandising, inventory control, and shop presentation
• Support family and junior golf initiatives
• Work collaboratively with the Head Professional and golf operations team
