We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Recreational Therapist to join our team! As a 1099 contactor, you will have control over your schedule and caseload, allowing you to create meaningful programs that make a difference.

 Key Responsibilities:

~      Plan, facilitate, and document therapeutic recreation activities tailored to individuals with developmental disabilities needs

~      Encourage social interaction, independence and skill building

~      Maintain a safe inclusive environment

~      Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans

~      Monitor and document progress toward goals

~      Collaborate with Individualized Support Team members on the individual’s progress

~      Maintain accurate documentation of services provided

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

~      Bachelor’s degree in Recreational Therapy

~      Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS)

~      CPR certification required (or willing to obtain)

~      Liability insurance required (or willing to obtain)

~      Negative TB Test

~      Clean Background Check

~      Reliable vehicle with insurance and a valid driver’s license

~      Strong communication and interpersonal skills

~      Creative, self-disciplined, energetic, and organized

~      Ability to work independently and design personalized programs
