About BoostDraftBoostDraft is a software engineering company that develops IDE for documents. It was founded by MIT and Stanford grad students, developing an assisted document editor for documents. Background & TractionWe are currently focusing on Lawyers who draft relatively standardized but long documents, such as contracts. With only four years after our product launch, we already have more than 10,000 active paid users. We have several long-term, large-scale contracts with famed enterprises and law firms. As a result, we achieved significant success, including profitability and exponential growth, all without relying on external funding for nearly four years.

What's your challenges
As a Product Manager at BoostDraft, you wear the following hats:
- Dive deep into user feedback and other data to understand key opportunities and customer pain points; Initiate user learning whenever problem is not clear
- Use AI tools to accelerate discovery, specification, and prototyping (e.g., rapid mock flows, draft requirements, and testable prototypes)
- Partner with product designers to breakdown problem into independent delightful experiences
- Manage a living agile backlog of high impact time saving features with your engineering peers
- Partner with Engineering/Design to evaluate AI vs non-AI feasibility, quality, and risk (accuracy, privacy, security, and reliability)
- Work with cross-functional teams to accelerate GTM and user adoption success
- Constantly develop your conviction on what features will save the user more time.

Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Product Management roles with regular customer interaction
- Adaptable at progress management, helping the team stay flexible while always clear on the most critical blockers
- Can wear many different hats to unblock the teams shipping velocity
- Has a diverse of problem analysis and prioritization methods backed by real results
- Hands-on experience using AI to prototype idea and speed up iteration (e.g., Figma Make, Notion, Zapier/n8n, vibe coding)
- Excellent communicator who can lead without authority
Language Requirement
- Proficiency in English for effective communication (must-have)
- Proficiency in Japanese for effective communication (highly desired)
Academic Background
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Nice-to-have
- Previous experience with a legaltech provider or legal academic background
- Previous experience working in a high paced startup environment for 1+ years
- Previous AI experience involving human-in-the-loop design, evaluation/QA, failure modes, and iteration based on user feedback
- Previous system design collaboration with engineers to evaluate AI feasibility, quality, and risk

Our teams are working fully remotely, and we are expanding our global presence. While our headquarters are currently in Japan, relocation to Japan is not mandatory. If you wish to relocate, we are happy to help you obtain a visa.

• For employees residing near Tokyo, there may be opportunities to work in person several times a month
- Flexible working time
- Flexible time: 6:00 am - 11:30 am / 3:00 pm - 10:00 pm
- Core time: 11:30 am - 3:00 pm
- Virtual Office
- You'll have the ability to craft a character within a virtual office environment and engage with fellow colleagues through interactive experiences
