The ideal candidate brings strong technical abilities, sound clinical judgment, and the confidence to support complex internal medicine cases while maintaining a calm, professional presence during high-stress situations.
Job Responsibilities:
Communicate clearly and compassionately with pet parents throughout the patient care process
Assist with anesthesia, patient monitoring, and recovery
Perform venipuncture and support accurate medical calculations
Apply working knowledge of anesthetics, diagnostic imaging, laboratory techniques, and general patient care
Remain calm, focused, and professional during stressful or urgent situations

Supports multiple specialty or ER departments as needed
Offers flexibility for weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed
Required Qualifications:
At least 3 years of recent experience in veterinary practice
Patient care experience
Ability to perform routine veterinary medical procedures
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
Internal Medicine experience
Veterinary Technician license
