Overview

Wexford Golf Club in Hilton Head is seeking an individual willing to provide excellent customer service to the members and guests. Wexford is home to 460 members who play on average 21,000 rounds a year. Play peaks in the spring and fall and dips in the summer and winter. The job would start outside as a cart attendant with a possibility to work inside the golf shop based on experience. With the opening of a brand new golf shop that will have double the floor space, there will be a need for additional help.

Essential Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

Outside Golf Attendant

• Provide proper customer service
• Ensure golf cart basic maintenance.
• Maintain bag storage.
• Keeps golf clubs and bags clean after daily use.
• Set and restock the driving range.
• Coordinates with Professional Staff for daily operations.
• Keeps work areas neat and clean.
• Assist with the setup and running of golf tournaments.
• Keeps stock of supplies

Inside Golf Attendant

• Assist in opening and closing the golf shop
• Help coordinate tournament operations
• Check-in members and their guests
• Attend the POS system
• Assist golf shop merchandising
