Description
SupplyPoint is seeking a highly capable Operations Manager to lead day-to-day production excellence while driving scalability, discipline, and continuous improvement across operations. This leader will oversee production operations, planning and forecasting, warehouse and inventory management, and cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure reliability, efficiency, and delivery performance.
This role requires someone who is deeply operational, forward-thinking, data-driven, and passionate about creating structure, clarity, and accountability on the shop floor. A strong foundation in Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily manufacturing operations with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost
- Collaborate but own production, production planning, scheduling, and forecasting to meet customer demand and strategic growth initiatives
- Drive inventory discipline including material flow, stock accuracy, and optimization
- Partner closely with Engineering on process improvements, launches, and production readiness
- Collaborate with Warehouse, Supply Chain, and Logistics to ensure end-to-end operational alignment
- Establish KPIs and leverage data to inform decisions and drive performance improvement
- Embed Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies across operations
- Develop, mentor, and build capability within front-line leaders and production teams
- Strengthen communication, accountability, and consistent execution across shifts
Requirements
Ideal Background:
- 7+ years of manufacturing operations leadership experience
- Proven experience leading production teams and improving operational performance
- Strong planning, forecasting, and capacity management capability
- Hands-on Lean / 5S experience with measurable impact
- Demonstrated ability to stabilize environments, reduce waste, and drive continuous improvement
- Experience partnering with Engineering in a manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership presence, calm, structured, credible, and people-focused
- Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on operational leadership
