South Tahoe Public Utility District is seeking qualified candidates for Engineering Inspector I, II, or III to help ensure the quality construction and repair of water and sewer facilities.

Pay: $31.83 - $62.63/hour (DOE)

Position Overview: Under supervision, the Engineering Inspector performs inspections and quality assurance testing for the construction and repair of water and wastewater facilities.

The role also includes documentation, and support in the design, construction, and operational analysis of District infrastructure.

Experience: Inspector I: 1+ year experience in water/wastewater system operations, repair, construction, or maintenance (desired).

Inspector II: 5+ years of relevant experience.

Inspector III: 10+ years of relevant experience (time served as District Inspector I/II counts toward requirement).

Requirements: Valid California driver's license with insurable driving record Safe Use & Handling of Nuclear Devices certificate (required for I/II within 8 months; required for III)

• Radiation Safety Officer Certification within 12 months for Inspector II/III

Reinforced Concrete Special Inspector Certification (ICC) within 36 months for Inspector III

APWA Public Infrastructure Inspector Certification (CPII) required for Inspector III
