Description: Fox Rothschild has an opening in the Boston, MA office for a Commercial Litigation Associate with three to five years of experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in all aspects of general commercial litigation with a well-rounded skill set and eagerness to develop professionally. We are not currently accepting resumes from search firms for this position.

Qualifications: Must have a Juris Doctor (JD) and be licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Strong research, writing skills, and academic record.
• Experience in all aspects of general commercial litigation.
• Experience practicing in both state and federal courts.
• Experience drafting and responding to initial pleadings and discovery.
• Experience drafting and arguing motions, and deposition experience.
• Experience advising clients on risk management strategies.
• Large law firm experience strongly preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including, but not limited to computers, telephones, printers, and copiers.

Physical Requirements

• Sedentary work: Exertion of physical strength to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 10 pounds. Work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties.
