JOB DESCRIPTION

BHE GT&S has an exciting career opportunity for a Manager, LNG Operations at our JAX LNG facility located in Jacksonville, FL.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The successful candidate will

• Demonstrate thorough understanding of company and facility safety policies/programs and environmental and regulatory policies/requirements including Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP), Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA), US Coast Guard (USCG), US Department of Homeland Security.
• Plan coordinate and manage all plant activities/projects.
• Maintain efficient operations while meeting budgets and goals.
• Promote a safe work environment for employees and the public.
• Administer operating and maintenance plans to include periodic testing timely inspections and effective record keeping.
• Maintain compliance with all required agencies.
• Demonstrate teamwork skills to include leadership, conflict resolution, negotiation and decision making.
• Ability to effectively utilize a personal computer and the associated programs, systems and databases.
• Evaluate train and develop staff.
• LNG liquification, Power Plant Start-Up, Power Generation, or Hydro-Carbon experience is preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS

At least 10 years of related experience, with a minimum 2 years of supervisory experience with direct reports.

• Extensive and comprehensive experience related to LNG plant operations and maintenance.
• Broad knowledge of pipeline operations, engineering practices, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Thorough knowledge of safety regulations related to pipeline and compressor station operations.
• Proven leadership and personnel development skills.
• Ability to motivate and lead employees.

Education

Bachelor (Typically four years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a bachelor's degree.)

Preferred Degree

Mechanical or Electrical Engineering/Engineering Technology

Preferred Licenses, Certifications, Qualifications or Standards

Must have a valid TWIC card or proof of TWIC card application
