About the job/role
Reporting to the Senior Licensing Manager, this role will assist and support the Greater China team in brand, retail & sales. We are looking for an excellent communicator to support day to day running and implementation of brand strategy across our IP portfolio. The Licensing Executive will work closely with the Marketing team, head office, Product Development, and our global teams to ensure flow of relevant information and materials and all parties are connected.
Job Description
- Establish and cultivate potential licensees, prepare sales material presentations, contract negotiation, and follow through to execution.
- Regular liaising with client services, licensor and licensees to provide and obtain relevant brand information
- Support the Commercial Director on a day-to-day basis with licensee database management, new licensee on-boarding, and communications
- Partner with creative team to drive quality and champion innovation in local product development
- Perform retail checks for our brands and carry out market analysis
- Research market in specified categories to identify potential new partners
- Keep track on invoicing, royalty reports, AR collection.
- Assisting with annual budgeting, and quarterly forecasting
- Work closely with marketing teams to maximize exposure of WildBrain CPLG
- Develop new business and manage the existing licensees.
Requirements
- At least 2 years’ experience working within licensing sector ideally in sales or brand marketing
- Basic knowledge on the process of consumer products licensing
- A creative thinker with ability to problem solve
- Ability to prioritise tasks and handle multiple on-going deadlines
- A team player who is enthusiastic and self motivated with the ability to show initiative
- University education preferred but not essential
- Good verbal and written skills in English
- Good knowledge of MS Office including Excel and PowerPoint
