The Position outlined below is for a Spa that is individually owned and operated by an independent franchisee. If you are hired for this posting, the franchisee will be your employer and is responsible for the terms of your employment.
We are looking for a Massage Therapist who is passionate about promoting a holistic approach to personal health. You should be familiar with various massage services that can help reduce pain and stress, such as Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal, hot stone, reflexology, sports, and trigger point.
Committed to building client loyalty, valid Massage Therapist License, drug free, positive attitude, is willing to commit to their agreed upon work schedule and provide a safe Spa environment for all clients and employees.
Requirements
- Perform consecutive 50-minute hands-on quality massage therapy sessions.
- Design specific sessions based on the client's individual needs.
- Promote massage therapy benefits for clients receiving sessions on a regular basis.
- Create an excellent, safe experience for all clients through a friendly and helpful attitude.
- Generate new clientele through promoting grassroots marketing.
- Help maintain professionalism and cleanliness of therapy rooms and other related areas.
- Complete accurate and detailed S.O.A.P. notes.
- Follow sanitation and room setup protocols.
- Must adhere to local and state massage therapy licensing laws and regulations.
- Must provide original copy of massage therapy license.
- Must provide proof of liability insurance.
- Knowledge of Swedish and Deep Tissue massage required.
- Knowledge of other various modalities preferred but not required.
- Must be customer service oriented and able to communicate effectively with clients, management and front desk staff.
- Treat every client and employee with respect and ensure all clients have a safe Spa experience.
