Description
About UsHere, we disrupt the status quo. If youre looking for your typical finance job, youre in the wrong place. Bevel Financial is revamping the lending world through innovation and technology providing customers simplified and accelerated lending opportunities across a marketplace of lenders.
Were looking for team members who have an understanding of large-scale funding with a small-scale customer service mentality. If youre a nimble problem-solver, good with numbers, and an excellent communicator, youve come to the right spot.
Position Summary: As the Lender Relationship Manager at Bevel Financial, you will be the primary architect of our funding network. You will serve as the vital link between our diverse client base and our ecosystem of institutional lenders, banks, and credit funds. Your mission is to source, onboard, and cultivate high-value lender partnerships to ensure the seamless placement of commercial financing deals. We are looking for a strategic "matchmaker" who understands credit appetite, can negotiate complex terms, and thrives on building a robust capital provider pipeline to support Bevels rapid growth in equipment finance and asset-backed lending.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Network Expansion: Actively source, perform due diligence on, and onboard new institutional lenders, credit funds, and bank partners to broaden Bevels funding capabilities.
- Deal Syndication & Placement: Strategically structure and place commercial financing opportunities (ranging from $10K to $50M+) including equipment leases, sale-leasebacks, and asset-backed facilities.
- Negotiation & Structuring: Act as the lead negotiator with lender partners to secure the most competitive pricing, covenants, and terms for our clients.
- Relationship Management: Serve as the "face of Bevel" to our funding partners, providing regular portfolio performance updates, market intelligence, and maintaining active, high-touch communication.
- Appetite Mapping: Maintain a real-time database of lender "credit boxes," industry preferences, and geographic appetites to ensure high hit rates and efficient deal routing.
- Pipeline Coordination: Manage the transaction lifecycle from initial lender pitch through to closing, ensuring all documentation and compliance requirements are met with precision.
- Internal Collaboration: Partner with the internal operations team to facilitate post-close servicing and ensure a seamless handoff for ongoing compliance and reporting.
- Market Ambassadorship: Represent Bevel Financial at major industry conferences (ELFA, NEFA, etc.) to scout new partners and stay ahead of competitive financing trends.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 37 years of experience in Equipment Finance, Commercial Lending, or Syndications with a track record of direct lender/partner interaction.
- Credit Acumen: Strong ability to read financial statements, understand credit underwriting, and "sell" a credit story to potential funding partners.
- Networking Prowess: Proven success in building and maintaining professional relationships within the financial services ecosystem.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce, Podio) and financial modeling tools to manage a high-volume deal flow.
- Communication: Elite negotiation skills and the ability to articulate complex financial structures to both internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Drive: A self-starter mentality with the entrepreneurial "hustle" required to thrive in a fast-paced, growing marketplace.
Benefits Offered
- Health Coverage: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans. Also offers a Health Saving Account (HSA)
- Retirement: Features a 401(k) retirement plan and match
