About the Role
We're looking for a learning professional who can own programs from analysis through evaluation—and who's ready to leverage AI to do it faster, smarter, and at scale. You'll partner with SMEs across Field Operations, Customer Success, and other business areas to design and develop training that actually changes behavior—not just checks a box.
This role reports to the Senior Director of Talent Enablement and is part of a small, high-impact team building Kastle's training infrastructure from the ground up. We're actively integrating AI into our workflows—from content development to learner support—and you'll help shape how that evolves.
What Makes This Role Different
This is not a content factory. We're building a performance system—with AI as a force multiplier—not a course catalog. That means:
- Programs over one-off courses — you'll own learning journeys, not just modules
- Architecture over assets — how it fits together matters as much as how it looks
- Performance over presentations — we care if people can do the job, not just pass a quiz
- AI-accelerated, not AI-replaced — you bring the expertise; AI amplifies your output
- Enablement over training — we're partners to the business, not order takers
Responsibilities
What You'll Do
Learning Design & Development
- Apply ADDIE methodology—enhanced by AI tools—to design programs across modalities (eLearning, ILT, video, job aids)
- Translate business needs into structured learning paths and staged experiences (onboarding, field enablement, compliance, leadership)
- Develop terminal and enabling objectives, design documents, storyboards, and assessments
- Build eLearning using Articulate Rise/Storyline, Camtasia, Synthesia, and AI-assisted content tools
- Use AI to accelerate drafting, outlining, scripting, and first-pass content development
Program Ownership
- Own multiple learning initiatives end-to-end (onboarding, role readiness, field enablement)
- Manage project timelines, priorities, and dependencies across competing stakeholder needs
- Contribute to team standards, templates, and repeatable processes—including AI-enabled workflows
Learning Technology & AI Integration
- Design SCORM-compliant content and support LMS administration (uploads, assignments, reporting)
- Help architect LMS structures (learning paths, program organization, tracking)
- Actively explore and implement AI tools for intake, content generation, video production, and learner support
- Partner on building AI agents and assistants that scale enablement without scaling headcount
Stakeholder Partnership
- Work directly with SMEs who aren't training professionals to extract and structure knowledge
- Guide stakeholders from "content requests" toward real performance solutions
- Evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements based on data
Qualifications
What You Bring
Experience
- 5+ years in instructional design, learning & development, or enablement
- Demonstrated ownership of programs (onboarding, technical training, field/sales enablement, or similar)
- Portfolio showing work across multiple delivery modalities

Skills
- Strong ADDIE foundation and performance consulting instincts
- Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (Articulate preferred)
- Hands-on experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or similar for content development
- Hands-on experience using Articulate Rise/Storyline, Camtasia, Synthesia, or similar
- Solid project management—you keep things moving without being asked
- Clear, concise writing and visual design sensibility
- Comfort with ambiguity—we're building the plane while flying it
Mindset
- Builder, not just executor—you see gaps and fill them
- AI-curious and actively experimenting—you're not waiting to be told how to use it
- Believes AI makes good designers better, not replaceable
- High ownership, high follow-through—you don't need to be chased
Nice to Have
- Experience in field services, technical training, or security industry
