Lead Interior Designer, Showroom Operations
Location: Designer Haus Showroom + Client Sites + Warehouse (Frisco, TX and surrounding areas)
Schedule: Part-time or Full-time considered
Approx. 20 in-showroom hours/week plus client work and operational support. Hours flex as the business grows.
Role Summary
The Lead Interior Designer, Showroom Operations is a senior, client-facing role that blends residential interior design, luxury retail sales, customer service, and showroom operations. This role supports an established, design-led showroom as it enters its next phase of growth.
You will own client relationships end-to-end, help ensure a consistent and elevated showroom experience, and contribute to improving the systems and processes that support efficiency, service, and scale.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver a high-touch, luxury experience for walk-in and appointment-based clients
Lead residential design projects from consultation through delivery
Own the full client lifecycle, including follow-up, ordering, and issue resolution
Convert showroom traffic into consultations and sales
Maintain strong product knowledge and represent the Designer Haus brand professionally
Help ensure the showroom is staffed, organized, and presentation-ready
Support day-to-day showroom operations, including scheduling coverage and warehouse coordination
Contribute to social media content showcasing the showroom and design work
Improve systems and processes related to design, sales, customer service, and operations
Support junior designers and serve as an escalation point when needed
Compensation
Competitive base salary (part-time or full-time, based on experience and availability)
Commission on designer-generated sales

Requirements
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of interior design experience; high-end residential or luxury furniture retail experience required
- Degree in Interior Design or related field; NCIDQ strongly preferred
- Proven success selling furniture and design services
- Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills
- Systems- and process-oriented mindset
- Ability to move throughout showroom and warehouse spaces; lift up to 25 lbs
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally
