SOCOTEC ARABIA is part of a confidential development program in Riyadh City and we are seeking for a PMC Project & Design Manager.

The PMC Project & Design Manager is responsible for managing, coordinating, and monitoring all design activities on behalf of the Client within assigned projects. The role ensures that design consultants, contractors, and specialist designers deliver coordinated, compliant, cost-effective, and high-quality design solutions aligned with the Project Management Plan (PMP), client requirements, regulatory standards, and program objectives.

Job Description

The PMC Project & Design Manager acts as the Client's representative for design-related matters and ensures design deliverables support project schedule, cost, quality, and operational objectives.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
• Master's degree in Project Management, Engineering Management, or Architecture is desirable.

Experience

• Minimum 12-15 years of experience in design and project delivery roles.
• Minimum 5 years working within PMC, client-side, or multi-consultant project environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary design teams on large-scale infrastructure or building projects.
• Regional regulatory experience, particularly within KSA, is desirable.

Professional Certifications

• PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.
• Chartered Engineer, Professional Engineer, or Registered Architect preferred.
• BIM or Digital Engineering certification is advantageous.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong client representation and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced design coordination and project delivery expertise.
• Strong cost, schedule, and risk integration capability.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Good understanding of BIM, digital engineering, and SMART infrastructure integration.
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness.

• Reports to: Project Director / Program Director (PMC)
