About the Role:
The family office manages a diverse portfolio of investments across asset classes and is seeking a sharp, motivated Investment Analyst to join our team in Chennai, India. You'll work closely with senior decision-makers on evaluating opportunities, monitoring portfolio performance, and supporting strategic financial decisions.
Your Impact:
As an Investment Analyst, you will be at the center of our investment process — conducting research, building financial models, and helping shape the investment strategy of the office. This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to senior leadership and real influence on capital allocation decisions.
What You'll Do:
- Build and maintain financial models, comparable company, and precedent transaction analyses
- Conduct sector and company-level research to identify and evaluate investment opportunities (public and private markets)
- Prepare investment memos, portfolio reviews, and presentations for internal stakeholders
- Monitor existing portfolio companies and flag risks, opportunities, and key performance trends
- Support due diligence on potential acquisitions, co-investments, and fund commitments
- Assist with ad hoc projects related to asset allocation, tax planning, or estate/succession considerations as needed
Basic Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
- Experience with financial modelling and financial statement analysis
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities
- High degree of discretion and confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, equity research, private equity, or asset management
- Familiarity with Indian and global capital markets
- Experience across multiple asset classes (equities, fixed income, real estate, alternatives)
