Description

T his is a 9-week long hands-on research experience program for undergraduate students to make materials and devices for semiconductor and electronic applications.

The program will include: Introduction lectures on semiconductor industry, semiconductor and electronic devices, the chemistry and physics in making these devices;
Hands-on experiences on making the semiconductor and electronic materials and devices; and Introduction on the broader impacts of research and development, professional networking and future career advices. In addition to the learning experiences, the participants will be paid a weekly stipend. Lodging and transportation will be provided. Students will also be encouraged to attend a national conference with the expenses covered.
