McLeod Regional Medical Center is a 565-bed tertiary care facility with a state-of-the-art Labor & Delivery unit and approximately 1,920 deliveries annually. We are home to a Level III NICU with Maternal-Fetal Medicine services on campus, providing our physicians with the resources and support to care for both routine and high-risk obstetric patients.
Call is currently 1:6. We utilize an OB hospitalist and CNM to provide OB ED coverage and additional backup on Labor & Delivery. Our dedicated NPs handle postpartum rounding, providing additional support to our physicians. The on-call physician also has guaranteed overnight sign-out to the OB hospitalist service, providing additional support and an excellent work-life balance.
For physicians who enjoy surgery, we offer multiple da Vinci robotic surgical systems with dedicated staff and guaranteed OR block time. Our practice also has local access to Urogynecology and Gynecologic Oncology.

We are just 1–1.5 hours from the coast and Myrtle Beach, with easy access to Columbia, Charlotte, and Charleston.
