The Head of Finance role for RDC Malaysia is pivotal in overseeing all financial related topics, while supporting the commercial operations of the Regional Delivery Centre (RDC) based in Malaysia. This role is integral to the Allianz Technology CFO/CTO3 structure and supports the Gearshift 2.0 Project Governance Structure. The role holder is part of the local management team and has a direct reporting line to the Regional Finance Manager for CTO3.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leadership & Strategy: Provide strategic recommendations and leadership for the Finance Function in Malaysia, ensuring alignment with Allianz Group strategy and supporting the commercial operations of the RDC. Communicate financial outcomes and collaborate with leadership teams to deliver business plans.
• Financial Management: Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to ensure alignment with strategic goals. Steer demand alignment and ensure oversight of cost control and KPI management. Support business related closing activities and ensure correct accounting treatment. Ensure risks are promptly highlighted, understood and mitigated.
• Commercial Finance: Support Service Owners to operationalise pricing, chargeback, and billing of RDC Services to Asia Operating Entities ("OEs"). Support commercial discussions with Customers and vendors including Accenture. Ensure oversight for Accenture invoicing and payment process and reconciliation with business case assumptions.
• Business Case Management: Ensure completion and operationalization of remaining Gearshift 2.0 business cases. Operationalize "Business Case Controlling Framework", including results update, establishment of savings tracking mechanism.
• Cost Steering & Control: Identify, implement, and lead cost steering and control processes to drive efficiency and cost savings.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Service Owners, regulators, auditors, and industry forums, to advocate and build capability.
• Operational Support: Support Allianz Technology Finance related to aspects of Tax treatments, including exposure to Permanent Establishment risk (PE) and WHT. Advise on Forex implications of invoicing, payments and reporting.
• People Management: Lead and develop team members to build high-performing, collaborative, and engaged teams.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree or CPA/CFA preferred).
• Extensive (over 10 years') experience in financial management and commercial business case tracking and validation.
• Expertise in managing IT budgets (€500m - €1bn), with experience driving cost savings and ensuring financial transparency.
• Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong ability to collaborate with senior management and clients of Allianz Technology and align demand management across multi-year plans.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact and influence.
• Role to be based in Malaysia.
