Overview

Fauquier Springs Country Club located in Warrenton, VA is hiring the position of The Head Golf Professional. The Head Professional is responsible for the development of the game of golf for the private country club with 350 members. The candidate will help develop the golf operations department budget, including forecasts, to ensure that all financial goals are met.

The successful candidate will ensure members and guests enjoy their daily experience at the facility and return knowing their next experience will be equally as good.

Experience Required

• PGA Member preferred (PGA Associates with 3 years' experience will be considered).
• Prior experience in a golf operations leadership role.
• Business and financial management skills.
• Experience in merchandising, instruction, and tournament operations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple revenue centers.

Essential Responsibilities

• Oversee all golf operations, including daily play, tee sheet management, and customer service
• Plan, organize, and execute tournaments, outings, and club events
• Provide individual and group instruction, clinics, and player development programs
• Manage and operate the Golf Shop, including merchandising and inventory control
• Supervise and train golf operations staff
• Maintain pace of play, course policies, and overall player experience
• Develop programs to increase rounds, revenue, and community engagement
• Ensure a professional and welcoming environment for members and guests
