Position Summary

 

The Golf Shop Merchandiser is a key, highly visible member of the golf operations team, actively involved in golf shop operations, inventory management and daily interaction with members. This role is ideal for a  who enjoys building relationships and contributing to a welcoming, member-centric atmosphere.

Seasonal position: March-December (flexibility available).

Essential Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with the Head Professional and golf operations team
• Assist with golf shop operations, tee sheet coordination, and member service
• Maintain orderly product displays which includes a refresh and rotation of merchandise
• Develop and ensure the established procedures for processing special orders for members
• Responsible for replenishment of stock and handling of customer special orders.
• Responsible for creating and implementing sales promotions.
• Work with the receptionist to advertise and properly communicate through email blasts and flyers.
• Work closely with Men's and Women's Tournament Committees to ensure timely and responsible ordering of prizes and gifts within budget.
• Support family and junior golf iniviatives

Benefits

• Base salary: $15-$17 per hour based on qualifications
