Overview

As one of America's oldest and most prolific golf clubs, Atlantic City Country Club has been home to many firsts, including being the "Birthplace of the Birdie." The earliest traditions of this seaside links course are still evident today. Finely manicured fairways and large sloping green complexes protected by deep sand bunkers remain the course's signature as it did more than a century ago. Long carries over natural ponds and salt water marshes also make the course a formidable challenge for any golfer. Shifting breezes, the distinct scent of saltwater, and windswept fescue only add to the total experience. Atlantic City C.C. is the only private golf club and we are looking for a talented person to join our proshop staff.

Experience Required

• Enthusiastic, energetic, personable individual with a desire to learn all aspects of the golf business.

• High school diploma
• Microsoft Word, Excel
• Punctual
• Strong communication skills
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Self - motivated and a team player
• Superior customer service at all time and willing to go above and beyond.

Essential Responsibilities

• Daily operations inside the golf shop (Opening and Closing procedures)
• Check in all players and handle fee collection
• Have full knowledge of all rates and membership offerings
• Answering phone calls in a proper manner
• Maintain an attractive and orderly appearance in and around the golf shop
• Club member tournaments and public golf outings
• Assist with merchandising and inventory control.
