Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Golf & Player Services Manager to help oversee the day-to-day operations of a busy public pay-to-play golf facility. This role is designed for an individual who understands the game of golf and enjoys working in a golf environment, but whose primary strengths lie in business operations, customer service, and team leadership rather than competitive playing ability or professional certification. The successful candidate will work closely with ownership to ensure the club operates efficiently, delivers excellent guest experience, and continues to grow rounds and revenue. This is a hands-on management position that requires strong work ethics, attention to detail, and the ability to wear multiple hats in a dynamic golf operation. PGA membership is not required.

Experience Required

Qualifications Required:

Strong knowledge and understanding of the game of golf

Prior experience in golf operations, hospitality, recreation management, or small business operations

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Strong organizational and time-management ability

Comfortable with POS systems, tee sheet software, and basic business reporting

Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays during golf season

Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently

Preferred (Not Required)

Experience working at a public golf course or country club

Experience managing staff or supervising teams

Tournament or league management experience

Retail or golf shop merchandising experience
