Position Overview

The Golf Professional Intern will work closely with the golf professional staff to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of private club operations. This is a growth-focused position ideal for someone pursuing a career in the golf industry who wants real-world exposure, mentorship, and the opportunity to develop thier professional skills.
Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily golf operations, including tee sheets, member services, and tournament administration
• Provide exceptional service to members and guests in a private club setting
• Assist with merchandising, inventory control, and golf shop presentation
• Help organize and execute member events, leagues, and tournaments
• Learn pace-of-play management, course set-up, and rules of golf
• Maintain a professional, positive presence that reflects the club's values

Learning & Development Opportunities

Qualifications

• Strong interest in pursuing a career as a golf professional
• Knowledge of the game of golf and its traditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Previous golf or customer service experience preferred, but not required
