Description

1. Manage the full lifecycle of asset management products, designing and iterating legally sound solutions that meet market demands (e.g., Cayman fund structure documents, transaction agreements, client agreements, segregated mandate agreements, etc.).
2. Draft, review, and negotiate routine business contracts and legal documents (including but not limited to NDAs, vendor agreements, procurement agreements, collaboration agreements, board resolutions, etc.).
3. Assist in the regular updating of internal compliance policies, as well as compliance training, monitoring, and risk management procedures.
4. Collaborate with Compliance, Operations, Product and other departments to assess legal risks, and liaise with external counsel promptly to track and interpret regulatory developments (e.g., new SFC rules in Hong Kong).
5. Assist in conducting legal research related to licensed or non-licensed business activities and provide preliminary legal advice and solutions.

1. Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or higher (JD); hold a valid legal practicing qualification (PRC/HK/US/UK).
2. Minimum 3 years of in-house legal experience in asset management within the financial services industry; prior experience in a law firm's fund formation practice is preferred.
3. Familiar with HKMA, SFC, AMLO and other regulatory rules and guidelines, as well as market conduct practices.
4. Willingness to explore legal areas beyond asset management that pertain to other daily business operations.
