Job Description

As a Financial Controller, your main responsibilities will include:

• Managing financial reporting and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes within the Accounting & Finance department.
• Providing strategic financial advice to support business decision-making.
• Monitoring and analyzing financial performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
• Implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Managing audits and liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
• Leading and mentoring a team of finance professionals to achieve departmental goals.

The Successful Applicant

A successful FC should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
• Big 4 + Fintech/Brokerage experience
• People management experience
• Strong knowledge of financial services industry practices and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in financial software and tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
