*This is a hybrid onsite position in Dallas or Temple campus location. * *Job Summary* The Financial Advisor III provides advanced financial analysis and strategic support for the Baylor Scott & White Operations Support department. Operations Support brings several departments together under one strategic umbrella, including Facilities Operations , Construction and Campus Planning, Hospitality Services, Public Safety, and Health Technology Management. This role sits within the Operations Support Finance and Analytics team and will primarily support the facility operations agreement. This position partners with leadership to evaluate financial performance, support contract and project initiatives, and drive data-informed decision-making. The role requires strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to translate financial data into operational insights. *What This Role Entails* This position plays a key role in supporting financial planning, contract oversight, and operational performance across multiple functions. The Financial Advisor III leads complex analyses, monitors contract compliance and spending, and ensures accurate financial reporting. The role also contributes to budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic planning, while identifying opportunities to improve revenue and reduce costs. *Key Responsibilities* * Conduct advanced financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, new projects, and service evaluations * Monitor contract expenditures to ensure compliance, prevent overbilling, and assess cost performance * Support contract negotiations by reviewing financial terms and understanding contractual/legal language * Prepare and analyze monthly financial results, including journal entries and close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness * Develop and present financial reports, variance analyses, and insights to senior leadership * Identify opportunities to improve financial performance, including revenue enhancement and cost reduction strategies * Lead or support complex financial studies for internal and external stakeholders * Partner with operational leaders to interpret financial data and understand business impact * Continuously evaluate financial processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and accuracy About Us Here at Baylor Scott & White Health we promote the well-being of all individuals, families, and communities.
