Finance -Vice President / Deputy Head of Finance
Responsibilities
- Supervise the preparation of daily management reports on liquid capital and segregation status for designated licensed companies (commodities, forex and fund management) and non-licensed companies, and monitor compliance with regulatory financial requirements
- Manage the preparation of monthly financial accounts of designated companies and carry out of daily accounting routines
- Lead the preparation of financial information for FRR computation and co-ordinate the completion of monthly returns of designated companies licensed under the Securities and Futures Ordinance
- Supervise the preparation of annual accounts and tax computations of designated companies
- Liaise with auditors on audit matters and coordinate with IT department on system development
- Handle inquiries on financial / reporting matters from regulators
- Perform ad hoc assignments as required
Requirements
- Degree holder in Accounting/Finance or related discipline
- Member of a recognized professional accounting association, such as HKICPA, ACCA
- Minimum 10 years' relevant experience in financial institutions
- With appropriate experience in handling financial matters prescribed by the Securities and Futures Ordinance and its subsidiary regulations
- Strong interpersonal skills with logical and analytical mind
- Familiar with accounting software and MS office applications
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English, Chinese. Fluency in Putonghua an advantage
