POSITION
Full-time faculty positions at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank are available in Aug 2027 to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in all or some of the following fields: Finance. The positions are flexible to accommodate other teaching and research interests. The positions are subject to funding.
(Note: The final appointment type—Tenure-Track or Contract-Based / Non-Tenure-Track—will be determined by the University Faculty Evaluation Committee based on the candidate's qualifications and university regulations.)
QUALIFICATIONS
A Ph.D. in Finance or related fields. Applicants from AACSB-accredited schools are preferable. Applicants require a degree in hand by Jan 2027. Applicants should be active researchers with a commitment to pursue excellence in teaching and research. Professional work experience will be a plus. In alignment with the college’s mission, content that reflects humanistic leadership concerns is expected to be covered in the courses.
Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching Competence: Candidates capable of instructing courses aligned with their academic specialities are preferred, particularly in the following areas:
Financial Management
Sustainable Finance (Undergraduate and Graduate)
FinTech and Applications (Undergraduate and Graduate)
Corporate M&A Valuation and Financial Analysis (Graduate)
Derivatives (Graduate)
International Financial Management (Graduate)
(Note: Candidates who integrate sustainability, artificial intelligence (AI), or big data analytics into their research and teaching are highly preferred.)
JOB RESPONSIBILITY

COMPENSATION & TEACHING LOAD
Compensation: Total Annual Salary:
Assistant Professor: Total annual compensation starting from NT$1,111,860 (approx. US$35,000*) per year
Associate Professor: Total annual compensation starting from NT$1,250,235 (approx. US$39,000*) per year
Salary Structure: Figures above are inclusive of the 1.5-month year-end bonus.
*USD amounts are estimates based on current exchange rates; actual payment is in TWD.
Teaching Load:
16 credit hours per academic year (equivalent to teaching 2 to 3 courses per semester) for both Assistant and Associate Professors.
Teaching load reductions are available according to institutional policies for new faculty, research projects, thesis supervision, and administrative responsibilities. (The absolute minimum teaching load after all applicable reductions is 9 credit hours per academic year.).
